Service Description
Provides sign language interpreters in a variety of settings to facilitate deaf/non-deaf interaction, which may include (but are not limited to):
- Court
- Counselling
- Doctor appointments
- Job interviews
- Staff meetings
- Lawyer appointments
- Youth groups
- Weddings
- Funerals.
Application Process
Contact Saskatoon office for further information. Information required for booking: date, time and duration, location, nature of the assignment, full name(s) and contact information, and full billing address if applicable.
Fees
Service - Regular interpreting service rates are $60 per hour (travel time is also charged at the same rate). There is a minimum of a 1.5 hour call-out charge for services, for a minimum charge of $90 per assignment. Rates for after-business hours and weekends are $70 per hour, with a minimum of a 2 hour call-out charge for services, for a minimum charge of $105. Assignment cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged as services rendered. If travel is required, mileage rates are $0.42/km.
