Service Description
Offers a mental health course that is led by people with lived experience of mental illness. Overall goal of the program is to increase participants’ ability to meet their personal recovery goals by enhancing their self-determination and quality of life. Five-session course that is offered online. Topics include:
- Aspects of Recovery
- Role of Personal Goals in the Recovery Journey
- Knowledge and Tools Needed in Managing Illness and Recovery
- Use of Peer-Support to Model Hope and Recovery
- Reflection and Planning for the Recovery Journey
- Wellness Tools, Triggers, Early Warning Signs
- Development of a Crisis Plan.
