Service Description

Peer Support Group

Offers a peer support group that is open to anyone with any kind of mental illness. Runs each Wednesday of the month. Gives individuals the opportunity to meet people in similar circumstances and gain support. Visit the website for information.

Family Support Group

Offers a family support group. Available provincewide via Zoom for individuals who have a family member that experiences mental illness. Runs the second Tuesday of each month. Visit the website for information.

Other Mental Health Support Groups in Regina and Saskatoon

  • Regina Peer Support Group (depression, bipolar, anxiety) – Thursdays, 7:00 – 8:00 pm. Location is the Regina General Hospital 0-D. Call 306-766-3798 for more information.
  • Regina Family Support Group (for friends and family of those affected by mental illness) – Thursdays, 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. Located is the Regina General Hospital 0-D. Call 306-766-3798 for more information.
  • Regina Drop-In Support Group (depression and anxiety) – Mondays, 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm. Location is The Caring Place, 2146 Robinson Street. Call 306-347-2273 for more information.
  • Saskatoon Peer and Family Support Groups (Mental Health and Addictions) – For the Peer Support Program call 306-655-7777 or for the Family Support Program call 306-384-9333.

Eligibility

Individuals with schizophrenia or related mental illness and their family and friends.
