Service Description
Provides cats, previously considered unsuitable as house cats, the opportunity to live in selected rural farm, warehouse, business or shop situation. Owners who wish to keep the rodent population down in their facility and who can provide a safe, warm place for the cat(s) to live should contact the Saskatoon SPCA.
NOTE: Each working cat will be spayed or neutered prior to adoption and will be up-to-date on vaccinations, including the rabies vaccination.
Eligibility
Individuals or businesses who can provide: 1. Shelter in a secure and warm barn, warehouse, building or stable 2. Daily food and water 3. Veterinary care as required.
Application Process
Complete an online application. Once your application has been received and you have been matched with a cat(s), an adoption counsellor will call you to schedule an appointment. Cats are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
