Service Description
Currently not accepting new clients. Children can be placed on a waitlist.
A licensed childcare facility that provides care and supervision for up to 40 children between the ages of six weeks and kindergarten. Child Care Subsidy accepted.
May be able to accommodate children with delays and differing needs. Please contact for further information.
Philosophy

- Our program operates in a multicultural environment, under the belief that all children learn from each other.
- Work in partnership with parents to provide a program that facilitates their child’s growth in the areas of social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
- Provide a positive environment that fosters open and honest relationships among parents, children, and staff.
Programs and Activities
- Program encourages voluntary participation through learning, exploring, and play activities.
- Has indoor and outdoor play materials and equipment for a variety of activities including: dramatic play, math/numbers, fine motor skill development, large muscle/gross motor, blocks, sand and water, creative/art, music/movement, reading/language, science/nature, relaxation/quiet play.
- Program takes into consideration the individual needs of children and families.
- Trained Early Childhood Educators provide programming based on the interests of the children.
- Program contains structured and free play, indoor and outdoor play, planned and child-guided activities.
- Diverse Early Childhood Educators representing 17 different countries.
- Provide one on one orientations into childcare with interpreters if needed to ensure parents have a good understanding of the polices and procedures.
- Cultural aspects are included in programming.
- Parent Handbook is translated into 9 languages.
Nutrition
- Healthy eating in a child’s early years can increase their cognitive development and contribute to their lifelong health and wellbeing.
- Provide two snacks and one hot lunch throughout the day.
- Include Halal meat and provide Halal foods into menus to meet the needs of newcomer families.
- Use rotating menus to ensure children are provided with a variety of foods.
- Nutrition provided meets the requirements of the Canada Food Guide and The Child Care Regulations. (2015)
- A nut safe centre.
- Attention is given to children with specific allergies and accommodations are made in conjunction with the parents.
