Service Description

Provides services to youth between the ages of 12 and 18 years (and their caregivers), who are experiencing a range of mental health and/or addiction concerns. Youth are assessed in the context of their families, caregivers and/or communities. Services are provided through one or more of the following programs:

  • Day Program and Therapeutic Recreation: provides an assessment and stabilization in the therapeutic school-type environment for youth with mental health concerns.
  • Youth Counselling Program: provides an assessment, individual, family, and group therapy to youth and their families who are experiencing mental health and/or substance use/abuse issues.

Eligibility

Youth between the ages 12 to 18 years (and their caregivers), who are experiencing a range of concerns that may include: behavioural disorders, complicated bereavement and trauma, depression and anxiety, eating disorders, LGBTQ+ issues, mental illnesses, parent/teen conflict, social skills, substance abuse, or suicide risk.
