Service Description
A voluntary supported living program for young women ages 12 to 18 with high mental health and addictions needs. Provides a safe, consistent environment where youth can focus on safety, emotional regulation, and skill development.
Services include:
- individualized support from staff available 24/7
- relationship-building and coping skills development
- access to specialized mental health and addictions services through the Community Response Team in partnership with the Saskatchewan Health Authority
- use of a neutral soft room for sensory play, self-regulation, and de-escalation
companionship and emotional support from a resident support dog
Eligibility
Young women ages 12 to 18 with significant mental health and/or addictions needs.
Application Process
Referrals accepted from:
- Ministry of Social Services and Mobile Crisis
- Saskatchewan Health Authority
- other EGADZ programs and services
- community agencies and members
- police and other emergency services
- self-referrals
Each referral is reviewed and assessed to determine the youth’s immediate risks and needs.
