Service Description

A voluntary supported living program for young women ages 12 to 18 with high mental health and addictions needs. Provides a safe, consistent environment where youth can focus on safety, emotional regulation, and skill development.

Services include:

  • individualized support from staff available 24/7
  • relationship-building and coping skills development
  • access to specialized mental health and addictions services through the Community Response Team in partnership with the Saskatchewan Health Authority
  • use of a neutral soft room for sensory play, self-regulation, and de-escalation
    companionship and emotional support from a resident support dog

Eligibility

Young women ages 12 to 18 with significant mental health and/or addictions needs.

Application Process

Referrals accepted from:

  • Ministry of Social Services and Mobile Crisis
  • Saskatchewan Health Authority
  • other EGADZ programs and services
  • community agencies and members
  • police and other emergency services
  • self-referrals

Each referral is reviewed and assessed to determine the youth’s immediate risks and needs.
