Service Description
Provides supported independent living for mothers and young children who are currently in the care of the Ministry of Social Services. Cameron House is for mothers and children who are transitioning from the Baby Steps Program or other forms of more supported housing. Offers:
- Accommodation for two women and their children
- Participation in a number of programs including life skills, parenting skills, addictions and domestic violence classes, and personal counselling.
Supported by a generous endowment from the estate of the late William Henry Cameron.
Eligibility
Mothers with children who are be involved with the Ministry of Social Services or need safe, stable housing. Must be committed to learning and working towards bettering their life.
