Service Description

A weekly support group offered to parents who have had their children apprehended, or are at risk for apprehension. The group helps parents find their strengths and empowers them to tackle tough issues they face to achieve the goal of getting and keeping their children in their care.

Topics include:

  • Positive parenting
  • Attachment and bonding
  • Healthy relationships
  • Setting limits and boundaries
  • Self-care
  • Stress management.

Note: childcare is not provided.

Eligibility

Parents who have had their children apprehended or are at risk of it.
