Service Description
Provides specialized support to people who have decided to terminate their pregnancy.
- Medical termination – in Saskatchewan, medical termination (also called pharmaceutical termination) is available up to 10 weeks of pregnancy through some sexual health clinics, family physicians and OBYGNs (obstetrician-gynecologist).
- Surgical termination – In Saskatchewan, Surgical Termination (also called procedural termination) is available in Saskatoon and Regina:
- Regina General Hospital: up to 18 weeks, 6 days – self-referral by contacting the Regina Women’s Health Centre (306-766-0586).
- Saskatoon City Hospital: up to 12 weeks – self-referral by contacting the Early Pregnancy Assessment Clinic (306-655-7637).
