Teacher Professional Conduct and Competence Complaints

Service Description

General concerns about a teacher should be directed to the the teacher, principal, or school division administrator.

Contact the Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board for complaints regarding a teacher’s professional conduct or competency. Staff may assist in determining the next steps which may include finding a solution with the school division or providing information on how to file a formal complaint.

Complaints must be regarding professional misconduct or professional incompetence and include the name of the teacher who is the subject of the complaint, the full name, address, and telephone number of the person making the complaint, and a description of the conduct or actions of the teacher. If the complaint is regarding multiple registered teachers, a form must be completed for each individual.

Application Process

The complaint form can be downloaded online. Complaints may be submitted in writing, or recorded on a tape, film, or disk and sent to:
