Service Description

Provides virtual counselling for parents and caregivers age 18 and older experiencing a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, or caregiving challenges. Sessions with a Registered Social Worker (RSW).

Services include:

  • a safe and supportive environment to explore thoughts, feelings, and behaviours
  • education about the impact of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, such as postpartum depression, prenatal anxiety, and perinatal OCD
  • strategies and coping mechanisms for managing stress, anxiety, and depression
  • support in improving relationships and making positive life changes
  • ongoing counselling support and follow-up care

Eligibility

Parents and caregivers age 18 and older with at least one child age 0–5.

Fees

$135 per 50-minute session. Subsidized options may be available for individuals facing financial barriers.
