Visit the website to search for free in-person and virtual Tax Preparation Clinics across Canada
- through the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), community organizations host free tax clinics where volunteers file tax returns for people with a modest income and a simple tax situation
- volunteers are not expected to answer complex tax questions; taxpayers who need information that is beyond the volunteer’s expertise can visit canada.ca/taxes or call 1-800-959-8281
