Service Description
Visit the website for information and advice about the process of becoming a foster parent.
Eligibility
Foster parents can be married, single, same-sex, or common-law; of any race or ethnicity; with or without children of your own; a renter or homeowner; and experienced with, or willing to learn about, children with special needs.
Application Process
Contact if you are interested in becoming a foster parent. All applicants and all residents of the home are required to participate in the evaluation process.
Documents Required
Criminal record check (applies to all adults living in home) and able to pass a child protection screening, and having no current or recent child protection history.
