Wish Granting – Refer a Child

Service Description
Offers life-changing wishes for Canadian children with critical illnesses. Saskatoon office serves children across Saskatchewan and grants wishes for children, ages 3-17, who have a serious illness.
Referrals are accepted from medical professionals, parents or guardians, or a potential child directly. Visit the website for more information.
Eligibility
Children or teens must: 1. Be 3 - 17 years of age 2. A legal Canadian resident 3. Diagnosed with a critical illness that meets the eligibility criteria, including certain serious genetic and neurological diagnoses. NOTE: A wish is a once in a lifetime experience, therefore, a child who has previously received a wish is not eligible.
Application Process
Referrals are accepted from medical professionals, parents or guardians, or a potential child directly. Individuals can:
1. Fill out an online application form OR
2. Contact their local chapter OR
3. Contact the national office at referachild@makeawish.ca OR
4. Call 1-888-822-9474.
