Service Description

Conducts tests to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and disease. 

Residents throughout the Health Region are able to have most collection services in their home communities. Basic testing is done in rural areas and more specialized testing is conducted in Regina. Lab services include:

  • Chemistry
  • Hematology
  • Transfusion Medicine
  • Microbiology
  • Surgical and Autopsy Pathology
  • Cytology

Eligibility

Patients in acute and long-term care facilities, physician offices, and the surrounding community.
