Service Description
Provides help to Canadian newcomers to understand and use Saskatchewan services, including:
- finding community resources and services to meet immediate needs (such as where to find food or health supplies, or how to apply for a health card)
- receiving contact information for critical services (such as emergency services, immigration offices, and career/employment offices).
Note, the Settlement Advisor cannot help with immigration documents or processes (in these cases, contact Citizen and Immigration Canada or the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program).
Eligibility
Permanent or temporary residents or recent Canadian newcomers, living in Saskatchewan, and their families.
