Service Description
Provides support to immigrant and refugee women, including counselling, referrals to support programs and resources, and long term follow-up supports.
Support includes:
- Comprehensive needs assessment and life skills counselling
- Assistance accessing financial support, completing government forms, finding housing, etc.
- Referrals to community resources, shelters, and adult learning programs
- Home visits, safety planning and intervention, and mental health supports
Interpretation, child care, and transportation services are available when requested.
Eligibility
Available to immigrant and refugee women and their families (Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, Visitors, and Work Permit holders).
