Service Description

A community-based initiative supported by the Regina Police Service, to make an effort to prevent crime in the community by patrolling neighborhoods and providing support for the Police.

COPP members patrol either on foot, on bicycle or in a vehicle. While patrolling on foot or bicycle, members wear a reflective yellow vest. While driving, vehicles can be identified by a “Citizens on Patrol Program” magnetic sign.

Typically, members of COPP are graduates of the Citizens Police Academy who receive additional training from the Regina Police Service.
