Service Description

Routine testing is done on-site and other work is referred to the General Hospital, Provincial lab, and the Pasqua Hospital Cytology department.

  • Lab samples are sent out the day following collection with routine results returning, in paper form, within four to five days.
  • It is advisable to phone the lab before bringing a request from an outside physician. Special tubes or a specific time frame may be a factor that prevent the lab from accommodating the doctor’s specific request.
