Service Description
Offers different programs available for any person, 18 years or older, who is experiencing issues with problematic gambling behaviour or individuals who have been affected by someone else’s gambling behaviour. Programs include:
- Day Treatment Programs
- Women’s Problem Gambling Support Group – weekly support group for women (must be referred by a Problem Gambling counsellor at Addiction Services)
- Mixed Problem Gambling Support Group – weekly co-ed support group (must be referred by Problem Gambling counsellor at Addiction Services)
- Problem Gambling Family Wellness Group – psycho-education support group for individuals who have been affected by someone else’s problem gambling behaviour (contact for details)
- Problem Gambling Severity Index – a brief test to determine if someone has an issue with gambling to help decide if professional support should be sought.
Eligibility
Any person, 18 years or older, who is experiencing issues with problematic gambling behaviour or individuals who have been affected by someone else’s gambling behaviour.
