Service Description
Neuro-affirming employment programs to help autistic individuals secure and maintain employment, these include
- Career Kickstart Sessions: 2-hour, one-on-one session with an Inclusive Employment Consultant where employment goals are shared while reviewing or building a resume and cover letter
- Employment Readiness: Six, one-hour sessions allow participants to explore topics such as career discovery, skills assessments, virtual reality experiences, searching for educational opportunities and more
- Job Searching Group: a follow-up to the Career Kickstart Session or Employment Readiness Programs where members receive continued support in meeting employment goals
- Work Experience: short-term employment opportunities (limited number) with job coaching support for members actively engaged in employment programs
- Vocational Volunteers: on a monthly basis, members are given the opportunity to build real-world job skills, form connections, and gain experience through hands-on volunteer work
- Workshops: interactive, skill-building workshops occur throughout the year
