Refugee Sponsorship Training Program

Service Description
Provides training, information, advice, support, and resources to Sponsorship Agreement Holders (SAHs), their Constituent Groups (CGs), and co-sponsors – including Groups of Five and Community Sponsors – across Canada.
Services are designed to meet ongoing information and training needs and include:
- Eligibility requirements for sponsors and sponsored refugees
- Guidance on the refugee sponsorship process and application forms
- Information on the global refugee situation
- Post-arrival financial and settlement support standards
- Information on the rights of Privately Sponsored Refugees
- Resources to help sponsors welcome, settle, and support the successful integration of refugees into Canada.
