Service Description
Responds to crisis and trauma incidents to:
- Provide emotional and practical support during the first few critical hours
- Assistance with financial support
- Referrals for services (i.e. counselling, legal)
- Death notification support
- Safety and security plans
- Assistance with victim impact statements
- Court accompaniment.
Eligibility
Victims of crime and tragic events.
Application Process
Call the Victim Services Program telephone number and request service. You may be asked to leave a voice message and your contact information but someone will return your call. Or contact your local RCMP Detachment for referral to the Victim Services Program.
