Service Description

Responds to crisis and trauma incidents to:

  • Provide emotional and practical support during the first few critical hours
  • Assistance with financial support
  • Referrals for services (i.e. counselling, legal)
  • Death notification support
  • Safety and security plans
  • Assistance with victim impact statements
  • Court accompaniment.

Eligibility

Victims of crime and tragic events.

Application Process

Contact your local RCMP Detachment for referral to the Victim Services Program OR
call the Victim Services Program telephone number and request service. You may be asked to leave a voice message and your contact information but someone will return your call.
