Service Description

Assists individuals in crisis in the immediate aftermath of crime or tragedy. Available 24 hours, seven days a week. 

  • Provides emotional and practical support during the first few critical hours
  • Helps prepare victims for court
  • Ensures referral information is readily available to victims
  • Helps lessen the effects crime has on its victims
  • Prevents further victimization
  • Enhances the communication process between victims, police and criminal justice system.

Services to Beauval, Black Lake, Buffalo Narrows, Canoe Lake, Creighton, Fond Du Lac, Ile a la Crosse, La Ronge, Montreal Lake, Pelican Narrows, Sandy Bay, Southend, Stony Rapids, and Wollaston.

Eligibility

Victims of crime and tragic events.

Application Process

Contact your local RCMP Detachment for referral to the Victim Services Program.
OR Call the Victim Services Program telephone number and request service. You may be asked to leave a voice message and your contact information but someone will return your call.
