Service Description
Helps residents, small businesses, agricultural operations, First Nations, non-profit organizations, and communities recover from natural disasters including floods, tornadoes, plow winds, and other disasters caused by severe weather. May help cover the cost of uninsurable essential losses, cleanup, repairs, and temporary relocation.

Eligibility
To be eligible for assistance, a local authority (city, town, village, resort village, provincial park, rural municipality, or First Nation) must apply to be approved. Communities must be approved before individuals can submit individual claims.

Application Process
Once your community has been designated for PDAP assistance, pick up an application form from your city, town, village, resort village, First Nation, provincial or regional park, or rural municipality. It is recommended that you apply as soon as possible and ensure all required documentation is included.
Separate applications must be submitted when applying for assistance under multiple categories.
