Service Description
Provides tenants with the right level of legal intervention so that tenants can reach fair and effective solutions to their housing matters, including eviction.
- Eligible clients will receive an appointment with a lawyer for summary legal advice within five business days of contacting Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan.
- Clients then may be referred for representation, by an articling student, at their eviction hearing. Representation cannot be guaranteed.
Eligibility
The client must not already have legal representation; their eviction must be occurring in Saskatchewan; and the client's family income and assets must fall within PBLS’s financial eligibility which is assessed during intake.
Application Process
Call 1-855-833-7257 to leave a message with your name, telephone number, and say that you are facing eviction. An Intake Worker will then get back to you as soon as possible.
