Service Description
24/7 CRISIS LINE: 306-425-4090
Safe shelter for women and their children who are fleeing domestic violence. Accommodates up to eight families. Residents stay in a secure building and are provided meals and snacks, a furnished room, shared bathrooms, indoor children’s playroom and outdoor playground as well as basic hygiene items, access to clothing and other donations as required, and transportation to and from appointments.
Staff are available 24/7 hours and provide support and educational programming on topics such as the effects of violence on children, addictions, self-esteem, anger management, goal setting, social assistance, education, job training and community resources.
Eligibility
Females 16 years of age and older and their children who are experiencing family violence and abuse.
