Service Description
Outreach workers provide training and educational workshops on topics such as domestic violence, sexual assault, healthy relationships, self-harm, and self-esteem, which are geared to the appropriate age level. Includes:
- Safetalk – Three-hour workshop that prepares anyone 15 and older to recognize signs of suicide, engage someone and ensure a connection to safety.
- Red Cross: Healthy Youth Relationships – Program for middle and high school grades that will help them gain the knowledge and skills to develop healthy relationships and prevent dating violence.
- Red Cross: Beyond the Hurt – Program for youth and adults to learn about the effects of bullying, harassment and discrimination, and how to use personal power to resolve and prevent problems.
- Edu-Therapy Grief Workshop – Program to assist those who work with broken hearts, relationship issues, or survivors of abuse and trauma.
