Service Description
Creates an awareness, understanding, appreciation, respect, and acceptance of the various cultures that compose Canada by means of public relations, personal interaction, festivals, and workshops. These events and activities may be held at the Prince Albert Multicultural Council location as well as at various locations around Prince Albert.
Events and activities may include, but are not restricted to:
- Monthly Concert Series featuring local artists in Prince Albert and area;
- Discovery Diversity in Language Classes;
- Multicultural potlucks;
- International Day for the elimination of Racial Discrimination activities;
- Canada Day celebration;
- Tapestrama Cultural Festival;
- Christmas at City Hall.
