Service Description

A variety of family literacy programs are available, including:

  • Storysacks – children’s book, factual book, props, card of ideas, game, backdrop or story mat
  • Read, Move Share – combines physical literacy and children’s books
  • Family Literacy Suitcases – filled with books, activities, puppets and more to enhance family literacy (available for a 2 week period)
  • Family Learning Olympics – Olympic-themed event with a literacy twist
  • Read, Rock and Roll – designed to promote family teamwork and literacy building as a families play, learn and laugh together. Suitable for all ages and stages of literacy.

Programs are supported by host agencies throughout Prince Albert with community collaboration. Programs are offered at a variety of locations – contact for details.
