Service Description
Focuses on adults with multiple barriers to finding and maintaining employment. Offers:
- vocational planning
- testing for skills and aptitude in correlation to work
- references to adult education
- other community service resources
- job search support including
- resume building
- cover letter preparation
- interview practice
- tips for cracking the hidden job market
- Job Finding Club
- referral to employment programs
- provision of client supports including
- Criminal Record Checks
- safety equipment
- certificates
- bus passes
- minor tools
Eligibility
Adults with multiple barriers to finding and maintaining employment. Any barrier regarding mental or physical health, substance abuse, language barriers, transportation, or any barrier that limits long term employment is recognized.
