Service Description

Provides free-of-charge registry and search services for eligible adoptees, adoptive parents, and birth parents.

The release of identifying information will be subject to any vetoes or contact preferences placed by a birth parent or adult adoptee. The government website includes information on:

Eligibility

You may be eligible for services if the adoption was finalized in Saskatchewan and you are:
-an adult adoptee (18+ years of age)
-an adoptive parent of an adoptee who is under 18 years of age
-a birth parent of an adoptee
-the adult child of a deceased adult adoptee
-the adult child of a deceased birth parent whose child was placed for adoption; or
an extended family member of an adult adoptee or birth parent.

Application Process

Gather the documents required for your service application (details available online); complete and print the appropriate service application form online; and submit the completed application form via mail, fax, or email.
