Child Care

A licensed child care facility that provides care and supervision for up to 33 children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years. Child Care Subsidy accepted.

Philosophy

• Promote independence as much as they can.
• Open door policy with parents.
• Use Classdojo to keep parents informed.
• Encourage children to figure things out on their own before they assist them.

Programs and Activities

• Play-based program.
• Kids dictate what is done during the day.
• No set schedule for different activities.
• Outside play as much as possible regardless of season.

Nutrition

• Everything according to the Canadian Food Guide.
• No high sugar foods unless special occasion.
• Will try to meet special diets to a certain degree – sometimes parents are asked to provide the food depending on the diet.
