Service Description
Supports parents in their role as their child’s first and most important teacher. Families receive regular visits from a qualified parent educator. During visits, parents learn about their child’s development and are introduced to play and literacy activities to support their child’s development. Other program components include:
- Annual developmental screening
- Referrals to other services and/or programs in the community
- Active participants are reserved a spot in the Centre’s preschool program.
Eligibility
Families expecting a child and with children up to the age of 3.
Enrollment capacity is 40 - 60 families.
