Service Description

Responds holistically, traditionally, and spiritually to the needs of Indigenous people (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) living with HIV, AIDS, and Hepatitis C.

Access to resources and support:

  • Light breakfast at 9:00 am, lunch at 1:00 pm
  • Educational resources are readily available
  • Personal care items when they are available
  • Workshops, guest speakers
  • Referrals, navigation to care, treatment, and housing support
  • Someone to talk to
  • Public Washroom
  • Public telephone
  • Clothes and food items (when available)
  • Medicines, Smudge, and tea
  • STI testing, vaccinations, immunizations
  • A space to cool down or warm up in times of extreme weather (For more information on extreme weather services in Regina, visit the website.)

Access to ceremony and Elders:

  • Smudging every day Monday – Friday at 10:00 am or upon request
  • Elders available upon request
  • Ceremonies are offered on occasion and include feasts, sweat lodge ceremonies, moon ceremonies, give-aways, round dances and cleansing

Activities, crafts and movies:

  • Women’s Group
  • Men’s Group
  • Support Groups
  • Recovery Groups
  • Crafts/movies/games

Indigenous people (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) living with HIV, AIDS, and Hepatitis C.

Application Process

Referrals accepted for Indigenous people living with HIV/AIDS or at-risk of acquiring HIV/AIDS.
