Service Description

A provincial Kindergarten to Grade 12 online school, providing education that aligns with Saskatchewan Ministry of Education guidelines. Offers a variety of learning options based on needs, including:

  • Kindergarten: Follows the Ministry of Education’s play-based curriculum, combining live online classes with independent, learn-at-your-own-pace activities. A half-time program offered for half the day each school day.
  • Grades 1 – 6: Students can learn from home in an online environment supported by a registered Saskatchewan teacher. Includes two learning models to chose from:
    • Students attend daily online live classes with teacher-led instruction at set times throughout the day.
    • Students can set up an agreed upon learning schedule with the teacher as they work through the course materials. Teachers are available throughout the school day to offer guidance and support through individual and group online meetings.
  • Grades 7 – 9: Students continue to learn from home in an online environment supported by a registered Saskatchewan teacher. Courses prepare students for their transition to high school course.
  • High School Course Options: Grades 10 – 12 students can choose to study online full-time from home or can take one or more online courses within their local school. A number of core courses are offered in both live or flexible schedules. Also offers elective options that can fit into any schedule, allowing students to pursue a passion, try a trade, or gain valuable skills while exploring future career pathways. Each course earns one high school credit and will appear on the official Saskatchewan High School transcript.
  • Adult Education: High school courses are available to adult learners, allowing them to complete a high school diploma, fulfill post-secondary requirements or upgrade high school marks. Adults of all ages welcome. For students over the age of 22 years, there is a cost of $500 per online course.
