Service Description
Provides a short term stay in group care to youth who are experiencing a crisis and need a safe place to stay while planning occurs to find them the resources they require.
Offered to youth who are experiencing considerable difficulty functioning in their family, foster family, school or community due to social, emotional, psychological and behavioural problems.
The duration of the placement is typically between 1-4 weeks.
Eligibility
Youth 7 -16 years of age.
Youth younger than 10 and older than 16 may be considered for admission under exceptional circumstances.
