Service Description

All requests for mental health and addictions services are handled by intake services.

Adult Services:

  • Mental Health
    • Assessment and treatment
    • Alternatives to Violence program (North Battleford)
    • Women’s support group for victims of domestic violence (North Battleford)
  • Inpatient Services
    • Care for people with acute psychiatric illness in a 22-bed inpatient unit (Battlefords Union Hospital)
    • Includes assessment, crisis intervention, stabilization, treatment, and early rehabilitation activities
  • Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services
    • Services and support for individuals with psychiatric disabilities and to individuals who are at risk of developing a long term disability as a result of a psychiatric illness
    • Includes assessment, supportive counselling, consultation, community treatment, medication management, ane more
  • Psychiatric Services
    • Offers diagnosis and treatment of mental disorders, including 24 hour emergency services, education, prevention, and rehabilitation.
