Visit the website for information on available financial supports available to help address the needs of Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic, including:

  • Support for people
    • Personal benefits finder
      • Answer 6-8 questions to find if any benefits are available to help your situation.
    • Support for low-income workers and families: the Canada Workers Benefit provides a refundable tax credit to help people who are working and earning a lown inome.
    • Mortgage payment deferral: homeowners facing financial hardship may be elivible for a mortgage payment deferral; to know if you are eligible for a mortgage payment deferral or to learn what options are available, contact your lender (your bank or your mortgage professional).
    • Waiving interest on student and apprentice loans: the interest for full-time and party-time students on the federal portion of Canada Student Loans and Canada Apprentic Loans is being waived until March 31, 2023.
  • Support for businesses
  • Support for sectors
    • Includes information related to: tourism; aquaculture and fisheries; culture, hertatige and sport; and aerospace.
