Service Description

Offers medically-releasing Canadian Armed Forces members and their families continued access to the Military Family Resources and to a suite of transition-support programs and services, including:

  • Group sessions on transition topics 
  • Mental health first aid course.

Program coordinators help families develop unique “care plans” that identify the right programs and services for their needs such as local resources, transition programs, referrals, or intervention support.


You and your family qualify if you are:
- a medically-releasing Canadian Armed Forces member; or
- a medically-released veteran.

Application Process

Visit your local Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) and ask for the Veteran Family Program Coordinator. No appointment required. Call 1-866-522-2122 for assistance.
