Service Description

Cree culture and language is provided at the center and included in all youth and family programming. Cultural activities include:

  • Healing/Sharing Circle – meets bi-weekly with Elders from James Smith.
  • Traditional Time With Cultural Leaders – Wednesday from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm. Includes:
    • Traditional foods
    • Beadwork
    • Moccasins
    • Regalia Making
    • Traditional sewing
    • Storytelling
  • National Aboriginal Day – Celebrated every June 21 at the Oasis
