Service Description
Offers a part-time summer leadership program for newcomer girls ages eight – 14 camp for girls:
- Typically, it runs between July and August, Monday to Thursday from 12:00 pm (noon) to 4:00 pm.
The program contents include:
- Leadership development workshops
- Field trip to historical sites
- Guest speakers’ workshops on Canadian culture and peoples
Eligibility
Girls eight to 14 years of age and who parents are not permanent residents of Canada (open and closed work permit holders, refugee claimants with a work permit and Canadian Citizens).
Application Process
▪ Applications start in April of each year.
▪ Parents need to fill out a centralized intake form and a program form to register their child/children in the program.

Proof of immigration documents (Work Permit or Canadian Passport)
