Service Description

Provides:

  • Water and coffee
  • Breakfast Monday – Sunday 9:00 am
  • Lunch Monday – Friday at 3:30 pm served at the door; Saturday – Sunday at 1:45 pm
  • Access to public phone / fax / printing / photocopying / computer lab
  • Paramedic on site seven days a week
  • Capacity: 15 (drop-in centre); 3 (overdose prevention site)
  • A space to cool down and warm up in times of extreme weather (for more information on extreme weather services provided in Regina, visit the website.)

NOTE as of May 2, 2025:

The physical centre location is currently closed due to fire damage, but all phone lines and emails are functioning properly again.

The safe consumption site and drop-in remain temporarily closed. A paramedic is now at Queen City Wellness Monday, Wednesday and Friday handing out harm reduction supplies, doing basic wound care, handling client mail, and basic outreach services. He is also serving meals outside of The Friendship Center Monday – Friday at 3:30 pm.

No weekend services available until further notice. Breakfast services are currently unavailable.

The administrative team, housing team, and health and wellness team are working out of a temporary office location at 1930 Rae Street – services are available by appointment only until they are fully set up in the new space. Staff will be available from Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
