Service Description
A program that addresses the increase of young children experiencing anxiety and worry.
- Provided with the idea that early intervention and preventative measures are important for children as they journey through to adolescence.
- With early intervention, children experiencing anxiety and worry will gain the resiliency and connection required to cope with whatever hardships they endure in the present and in the future.
- Children participating in this program may go through a variety of topics, including:
- Getting to Know Your Worry Triggers
- Worry in the Body
- Night Time Worries
- Mindfulness
- Emotional Awareness and Regulation
- Resilience and Bravery.
Eligibility
Students in grades 3 - 6.
Application Process
This program is available in different elementary schools across Saskatoon. Registration and further details are available through school counselors.
