Service Description
A no-fee, risk mitigating, preventative program that supports parents and caregivers with a variety of parenting challenges, including:
- Effective parenting strategies
- Parent-teen cooperation
- New problem solving or coping skills
- Living a healthy lifestyle
- Establish and maintain positive relationships
- Connecting to resources in your community.
Available through self referral or community agency referral. Support is provided weekly and appointments are scheduled by the client and the Social Worker. The Diversion Service may be between three to six months or shorter.
Funded by the Ministry of Social Services.
Application Process
Self and family agency referrals are welcome.
