Service Description

The Regional Infection Prevention and Control (RIPAC) department delivers an effective region-wide infection prevention and control program. The goals are to:

  • promote awareness of best practices to prevent and control the spread of infection among staff, residents, clients and visitors
  • improve patient outcomes by preventing and controlling the spread of healthcare associated infections.

The Infection Prevention and Control department is housed in the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, Laboratory.
