Service Description

Provides transportation options for residents with mobility impairments.

The mobility van service is operated much like a taxi service, with door-to-door service provides on an appointment basis.

Eligibility

Any person with a mobility impairment(s).

Application Process

Complete and submit an application form. Forms are available from City Hall or from the city's website.

Fees

Clients are required to pay the operator when boarding the mobility van. Within City Limits $4.50 per passenger for a one-way trip $9 per passenger for a two-way trip
Outside City Limits $22 per passenger flat fee $0.80 per kilometer (may be shared by a group or by sponsors of a group)
*If the mobility van operator is requested to wait for a client at an appointment or function, a standby charge of $22 per hour will be applied.
