Service Description
Offers a technology which includes a database with real-time details from police about missing children’s cases with photos and location maps. It has the capacity to deliver information to community members and first responders specific to their location. It also lets the public share vital information with police via technology.
The public can access “MCSC rescu” at rescu.mcsc.ca and register for alerts.
The Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC) Search Support Program, specifically the Child Search Network, is a turn-key solution with the capacity for data management, visualization, analytics and collaboration available at no cost to police organizations. This is a national resource and system to meet the ‘gap of response” for high-risk missing children cases that do not meet the strict criteria for the AMBER Alert.
Eligibility
The Child Search Network can only be activated by police. The MCSC rescu app is available to anyone interested in obtaining information about missing children in Canada and receiving alerts for high-risk cases in their area that do not meet AMBER Alert criteria.
